Perfected over the course of 10 years, Montoya’s Micheladas offers a signature take on Mexican classic
Since childhood, Kevin Montoya (our founder) and his brother have been known for crafting unique recipes and one-of-a-kind culinary dishes with a Mexican flair. The LA natives, self-proclaimed “mad scientists” or cientificos locos would spend hours together in the kitchen experimenting with recipes inspired by their cultural heritage.
Over the past 10 years, the Montoya brothers have been tinkering with a Mexican classic - the michelada. The muddled origin and ambiguity of the michelada lent itself perfectly for experimentation. The rich and eclectic blend of regional spices, herbs, and seasonings, tomato juice, and lime spritz gave the brothers a plethora of variables to manipulate in their quest for the perfect michelada mix.
If you’ve never had a michelada, after looking at these ingredients, you may have a better idea of what you’re in for! It’s not your average beer mix, and we wouldn’t have it any other way! Micheladas are for the spice lovers who want a little fire in their beverage. They’re perfect for hangovers, put some pep in your step, and taste amazing.
Here at Montoyas Micheladas, we take choosing our ingredients very seriously. We’re not just focused on creating a great tasting michelada, but we want to do it the right way. That means finding the best ingredients possible for our clients. Here are the main ingredients included in our michelada.
